ITPC Sydney Promotes Indonesian Coffee and Batik to the Wives of the Consul General for Foreign Country Representatives in Sydney

(Sydney, 12 April 2021) – ITPC Sydney partners, we are honoured to introduce Indonesian coffee and Indonesian SMEs products to the Sydney Consular Women’s Club on Monday, 12 April 2021 in the office of ITPC Sydney.

Before serving Indonesian culinary lunch to 20 distinguished guests and their families, Director of ITPC Sydney, Ayu Siti Maryam, explained that SMEs contributed to 57.8% of Indonesia’s GDP, and 60% of Indonesia’s SMEs are owned by women. This data is important as in this month, Indonesians are celebrating Kartini Day as a symbol of women’s empowerment and emancipation. She also showcased Indonesian batik clothing while the owner of Aslan Coffee, Budiyono, promoted Indonesian coffee.
