ITPC Sydney Promotes Indonesian Food and Beverages Products to the Young Australians

(Sydney, 24 April, 2021) – ITPC Sydney partners, we aim to facilitate trade engagement between Indonesia and Australia through trade missions and dissemination. We are honoured to to promote it to young Australians through the second part of Inspiring Indonesia Talk Series on Thursday, 22April, 2021 in ITPC Sydney.

Principal of Eastern Cross Trading, Suliyanti Sunaryo, discussed her experience of more than 30 years in the food and beverage industry sector and export-import trading. She explained what types of food and beverage exports from Indonesia are popular in Australia. “During the pandemic, more and more people like to cook at home,” she said.

Approximately 20 students, academia, and young Australian youth attended the talk show which was opened by Deputy Head of ITPC Sydney, Siti Aisyah. “Indonesia has a variety of food and beverages from different regions, we encourage you to try them and find your favourite, if you can’t find them in the local Indonesian restaurants here in Sydney, you can always create them at home,” she explained.

The event was a collaboration between ITPC Sydney with the Australia Indonesia Youth Association (AIYA) Chapter New South Wales and the Indonesian Literature Club.
