At the Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) 2021, the work area of the Ministry of Trade in Australia made another achievement, where Indonesian exporters and Australian importers agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a total transaction of $108,944,500.
Importers and exporters signing the MoU in TEI 2021 include N Brothers PTY LTD and PT Indonesian Trading Company for wood products, spices, and fertilizers. Furthermore, Grein International PTY LTD and PT Suwe Ora Jamu for herbal products. Lastly, Berdi PTY LTD and PT Global Saputra Harvest for coal and fertilizer products.
In TEI 2021, the Ministry of Trade also gives Primaduta Awards to overseas buyers who have continuously and loyally purchased Indonesian products in the last five years.
For the Australian region, the award was given to Sony Trading PTY LTD, one of the largest importers of Indonesian processed food products in Australia. Sony Trading PTY LTD also plays a role in the development of Indonesian products by providing guidance to SMEs so that they are ready to enter the Australian and Pacific markets.
